Default Super bowl

I was wondering if any of you celebrate the day of the super bowl football game. Well my family has done this for years and years. I make a big supper and then plenty of snacks in between. They all like to munch when the game is on. My munchies consist of different kinds of crackers or chips. Cheese for the crackers or chips. Somekind of a sweet snack, which usually is some kind of little debbie snacks. Pop or koolaid they like to drink, my people that come for the game are not much of beer drinkers but they like the sodas. ususally after the game they will snack on leftovers from supper. So when super bowl day comes it is a big day here in my house. Our daughter and her husband and kids are going to be here today. I am making hamburgers and meatloaf. I am going to throw some potatoes in the oven when I make the meatload. I am curious what you all do on super bowl day? You got any traditions for the super bowl game?

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Kitty: hello there, listen as a Superbowl fan (first game watched was Oakland Vs Philadelfia) I love Football I got more into the game when I moved to Chicago back in the 80's and of course my team is Chicago. What we usually do is that my brothers and I get together for the game at somebody's home. this year I wanted to hang out with the crowd. This weekend I am in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico and my wife and I will take the girls to a place called Carlos O'briens which is located on the beach, even though my wife is more into soccer and my girls are starting to get serious on sports (still learning the game), this will be my first experience out of home watching the game, and of course watching what I eat and drink, but to be honest NOT WORRIED.

I promise I wll send you a picture of me and my family and of course my Patriots T Shirt.

Bye......

We enjoy the game at varying stages of partying. Some years it's a huge deal - like when the Bucs won the superbowl ~~ ahhhh, memories ~~ or watching John Elway play, those were the days..... This year will be more of a quiet gathering at a friends house, we dont really have any strong ties to the teams playing so that kinda deflates the occasion somewhat. Plan to eat before I go and sip on something like crystal lite. Have fun with your families.

I usually make a LOT of hot wings, order a pizza, chips, etc. Today, it'll only be SOME hot wings. Since the San Diego Chargers didn't make it, I'll probably be the only one watching the game (hubby working until 5 p.m. and he usually doesn't care, he just likes to eat), I wasn't going to do it, but I figure, it'll be a while, probably never, before I'd get another hot wing.

We used to go over to our friends house with a bunch of other friends and eat and hang out and watch the game, but they got divorced and so now all of us who used to go have broken up the crowd between a few of our homes and do the same but in smaller groups. BUT this year my FIL and hubby stayed at our house and watched it while me and MIL went shopping all day!! I had fun and bought some much needed new clothes in my new size!!

It was an AWSOME game....my parents and some friends came over. I cooked my sauce and some finger foods. What a great game....See im the opposite this is a total football house, we play it we sleep it we eat it here....My oldest son has been playing since he was 5 years old and we already have the 5 and 6 year old ready to play. We are actually Bears fans and were very disapointed last year but to see the Giants win was awsome. I live in manhattan and it was louder here then it was New Years Eve....Congrats Giants...

yes we usually have guests over for the ocasion.
ours cancelled but my daughter had her GF over
and we make as usual lots of munchies......

we usually nosh thru the game...
we made lobster tails (for me and hubby)

then we made during the game: mini pizza bagels,
mini tacos, chickena fingers, potatoe skins, pigs in
a blanket, shrimp coctails and we had some salsa
and chips out as well!

WAS A GREAT GAME!
AND I WAS SO happy giants one ...
that last score in the last min. of the
game rocked!

I WISH all superbowl games were this exciteing.
I dont follow football all season
but i always watch the superbowl and when
i wasnt self employed always enjoyed takeing a
box in an office pool
one a few times too!

We have hotwings, pizza, beer, wine, liquor, chips, and dip. Family and friends come over and act a complete fool. This year Super Bowl was over my house since I am the only Giants fan and I rubbed their faces in it when we won. So while they ate and drank I just watched the game. I think I was the only sober one in there. Thank God we all live in the same neighborhood. Ev1 is in walking distance because ev1 left drunk. LOL
