Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Never say never Ok so when I had surgery and everyone told me to be prepared for issues to come up in our marraige. I swore that would never happen to us because for 1 we had been together forever and for 2 we had been through so much already and made it through. Well guess what? We are having bumps in this journey. With him being in Iraq and me being here and him not being around for this ride, he has become very insecure. He hasnt accused me of cheatig but he has said he is worried that I will find someone better, of course I try and reasure him I dont want anyone else, and that he is the best man I could ever dream of having so how could I find anyone better then him, we spent 2 hours going back and forth today on this issue, its draiing and very upsetting for me to know he is feeling like this, it doest help that he suffers from severe depression and shouldnt even be over there again. I could just hear the depression in his conversation today and I am powerless to help him. On the plus side the transfer addictive behavior I was exibiting is being worked through, I am no longer drinking or taking my pain meds for my back, he doesnt even know about those issues, if he did I think it'd push him over the edge. Anyways I guess I just needed to get this out and remember to never say never |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Thanks ladies, I emailed him a long email and tried to reasure him that even though he isnt here doesnt mean that he is forgotten. He is the glue that holds our family together and I dont think he realizes that. So I tried to reasure him and let him know that just because he isnt here doesnt mean we dont feel his presents. He is very important to us as a whole and just because we dont physicaly have him, we do mentally, anyways just rambling thanks again for all y'alls support y'all make this journey so much easier |

| Super Moderator  | ((((((HUGS)))))) Becka, it's very good that you are on top of everything, you are doing everything you can. Has Will been able to get the help he needs? With what happened last week, it must be harder for him, especially if he isn't getting help on this side. I just hope he can get a sick leave or an early leave or whatever, so he can at least be able to move into a place that's safe, and where you two can get together even for a few days. That would help both of you sooooo much. ((((((HUGS)))))

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Doc he is seeing a therapist often now, thank goodness, he said the psyc hasnt questioned any of his meds, he is on effexor (sp) at one point he was on 425 miligrams but he was doing well here so they lowered it to 125 miligrams, I think they may need to re adjust his levels again or maybe even re- evaluate what he needs. We shall see. Again thanks for the support it means everything to me |
