 |  OT: Our New apartment in NYC!!!
Well everyone...thanks for all your thoughts and prayers on our behalf!! We are thrilled to have found the perfect place....I'm attaching a few of the pics I have...as well as some of the pro's and cons..... We are excited...and are thrilled that we feel soooo confident about the one we chose....and that the landlord accepted our application. I can't wait to see it after all the renovation...I'm sure it will be amazing! We will leave Texas on July 29th....and our entire family will be driving to NYC...including our two kitties!! Yea!! WE ARE THRILLED!! Can't wait for everyone to come and visit!! You NYC girls will need to come for a little open house....what do you think??~

COngrats!!!!!! I am soooooooooooo sory that i have not been in touch. Things here have been totally nuts. However i just put in a change at work and will only be working 14-19 hours a week. Full time was just to much and i couldnt leave the kiddies. THey were so understanding and didnt want to loose me so we worked it out. So there for i will be available for those trips to the park when you do get here.....The place looks great and you have a great neighborhood.....I am so excited for you. What a great new life and adventure you are about to start. Nothing like living in NYC,,,the greatest city in the world. Keep us posted and again i am so sorry i have not been the greatest support these last few weeks. LisaMarie

Lisa Friendly....WE DID SELL....we closed on 6/20....it was hard from TN...but we were sooo thankful, especially needing the extra cash to impress when people wanted to see bank statements to know that we were good for the $$ in signing the lease. Riding the train into the city will be sooo sooo easy for you! All you do is hop on...and go to Brooklyn's DeKaulb stop....I will meet you there. I may do the first trip out to you with Isabella...then I will give you all the details. Then your next trip can be to Penn...and we'll all meet up for some fun. I really do want to have all you NYC area girls over....it would be soooo much fun. It will probably be end of Aug - Sept...b/f I am unpacked. LM....sooo glad you are taking care of yourself and your family. I know you were lovin working...but it can be a bit overwhelming when you go from nothing....to overtime!! I'm glad you are cutting back....and excited for our time to go to the parks!! I'm thrilled to get with you and the kiddos!! Doc...I removed what were "originally" cons....they are pointless now....it will be home. And we will have to get used to them. I don't think that they were that big of a deal to start with....so some, I can't even recall. The apartment is very retro....and I love the character it has. The ceilings have old 'tiles'.....soooo gorgeous. I am going to paint all the walls, so the ceiling tiles will stand out. I'm going to do vibrant colors - b/c I'm not usually that bold in my own house. Here...I am going to be. My BR will be some shade of mustard....I think the living area will be a persimmon...orgy....and Isabella's will still be a lightish green....and brown accents. Only 3 areas....minus the Bath. So....we'll see. LOL!! Thanks everyone else for all your 'sweet' well wishes...I've missed you all....hopefully will start to keep up with all the posts.... Can't wait to get to know some of you "Newbies"!! | |

DEB thats awesome that you sold the house in Texas. I know here in New YORK a sale doesnt go thru that quickly. FOR your sake i am glad in your home state it did! THIS way you had the records for the approval on your apartments. EVERYTHING is really falling into place for you.
I am so exicited to hear you will come out! NAME the date and i can be free. I imagine the RR line is the RONKONKONKOMA branch and i can go
pick you up from there. I still live about another 20 mintues east on
the LIE but no biggie to get you guys!
