Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Sick days before surgery! ok went for preop on monday and started getting sick last night. I have runny nose, sneezing, coughing, extreme sore throat, watery eyes! Any idea what to take to help me get over this quickly!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | It is pretty common to get sick 10 days - 2 weeks before surgery. I have no idea why, but I see it happen again and again. You have plenty of time to recover before your surgery, so just hold tight. Before you take anything, check with your surgeon to make sure it is okay. I had to stay away from a bunch of medications and OTC stuff for the 2 weeks before surgery. Get better soon! Tonya

I bought this stuff at "rite aid" called "no time for colds" .its basically zinc and some other concoction.. they are tablets you suck on every 4-6 hours... and IT WORKED!! everything was gone in like 4 days!! good luck!
