Spring, wow I can go on and on but here are a few of things I like in Spring. First off I should say it is still cold here but when Springs comes here, this is what I like, right now we see lots of geese and ducks flying north, oh what a site that is to see them fly over our heads even though they are very high up in the sky and the sounds they make when flying. Then it is seeing the grass get green, and the rubuarb poping out of the ground and the tulips also poping out of the ground. Oh, the smell of Lilac trees, we have lots of Lilac trees in our yard and when they bloom our whole yard smells like Lilacs. The trees getting thier buds for leaves. The excitment of putting my garden out and getting the soil ready for the garden. People working in the fields, digging the land and people planting their fields. I saved the best for last, is all the new baby calves and the baby kittens, we always get lots of baby kittens in the Spring. The sound of the birds that always come back in the Spring, and just all the sounds of Spring is just awesome. I love it in the Spring, Summer and Fall, but I never liked winter becasue I hate snow and the cold weather. So these are a few of the things I like about Spring.

Oh, I love spring, my favorite season!! I love sleeping with the windows open at nite, the sound of neighbors mowing the yard and then the smell of the fresh cut grass! I see baby animals, and the daddy Quail calling their families! Planting a garden!! sitting directly in the sun, but not getting too hot! The wildflowers here in the mountains are BEAUTIFUL, my favorite are the Baby Blue Eyes!! Crows calling out for a mate!! The natural lakes here are all full and sparkly! Green moss on the rocks! My cats are all excited to get outside and hunt gophers again! I could write a book on this subject!

Pushing the bike out of the garage and firing it up for a shake down cruise. Getting to work on the bus at last after the snow melts away from around it. Servicing the lawn mower, weed eater, blower, and all the other internal combustion devices I have gathered in the garage. And being able to do all of this without wearing my Carhartts!! (If you live in MN, you know what I mean. If you don't understand the reference, count your blessings!!)
And the weather is starting to open up now so I can start doing all these things in the near future!! Seems like only yesterday they pulled all the fishing houses off the lake!
