This has been such a beautiful week here, so I thought I'd start this thread for those of you who are looking forward to spring!
What I love about spring is the scent of night blooming jasmine and orange blossoms ~ the sweetest perfume!

Just beautiful Doc Sanae. We have a park here in New Jersey, down by Newark, "Branch Brook Park" that is about a 10 mile strip of cherry blossoms, oh the turist that attracts, and the weddings! I remember since I'm very little waiting for them to come into blossom. And I know they have a big amount in Washington DC by the White House. How wonderful to have them in your back yard!
I do have a weeping cherry in my yard - it blossoms first, then it just looks like a weeping tree for the rest of the summer, very pretty too.

I just LOVE the pollen  this is gonna be the worst.
on a brighter note. I am planting tomatoes and my lemon balm is coming back in. the parsley faired well as did the mint, bay, rosemary and thyme. getting ready to plant some sweet basil(to go with the tomatoes) tarragon(orange terragon chicken) and marjoram.
April also starts the strawberry season YAY! I usually try and can 5 gallons. My family has already put in their orders for how may jars of jam this year.
