I can't wait until my size settles (in another 50 lbs...I can wait that long. ). I bought a size 20 jeans at Sam's Club to "shrink into". They are falling off me. I washed them in hot water yesterday...hopefully they fit better.

I haven't been in a 20 in years. My wedding dress is 20.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Judi,

My wedding dress was a size 20 too!! I've contemplated pulling it out and taking pictures of it hanging off of me...I got frustrated along the way too...thinking the sizes would never stop changing...

YOU HANG IN THERE....you are doing great!

I need to buy a suit, but I want to wait awhile longer until I have more confidence what size I'm gonna end up. Cheap pants and shirts I don't mind shrinking out of and donating, but I've given away some awfully nice suits, and don't want to do it again in the near future.

My wedding gown was a size 20 also ~ always told DH "I'm a big girl - it's nothing new" when he'd get bugged about my size. I love NY&Co jeans - they are the most comfy I've found to date - and I love the stretch jeans - they don't bind. I found this wonderful consignment shop that sells name brands (Liz Claiborne jeans for $7!!! and size 8 ) and bought some stuff last week ~ then yesterday I went by the store and it was cleaned out - literally just gone ---ugh! Hoping they just moved......

WOW Clancy..what a deja vu..I have a consignment store I frequent...I heard her on the phone telling someone they aren't taking any new consignments until they get rid of some of the stuff they have......the owner has a couple of my things there on consignment (I bought a fur coat last fall that is HUGE on me now)...she said business is VERY slow....she sells higher end labels (chicos, talbots etc) and they are VERY particular about what they take in...she said she took a bunch of fall stuff in and now the weather is staying warm, so nothing is moving..thing is, she's been at this location FOR YEARS....sounds like everything else we are hearing out there about the economy...I just don't think clothes are a real priority for people right now...I was thinking things might improve with falling gas prices (its under $2 a gallon here right now!!! THANK GOD!!!)

ON A BRIGHT NOTE...I picked up a pair of Juicy Capris for $11!!! They were new with tags...retailing at $198....they are 26 waist size...they fit PERFECT, but I decided to part ways with them and listed them on EBAY.....! I can quadruple my money on them this way~!

Sounds smart to me (except who pays $198 for capris?) but hey you can probably make money on them - that's the beauty of the internet - no matter what you're selling it'll work for someone somewhere! I def gotta find out if there's another store.... Our gas is about 2.35 a gal now - my SIL says its right at 2/gal in Houston.
