I am over 9 years out and you bet, I still am so grateful to having had WLS. I feel alot of my life has changed due to my having WLS, but I wish that some of my decisions were not so quick in making. (aka. my divorce)
But I am remarried, and very much in love with my new husband. (just that I am in the poor house for the first time... (well, thats a whole nother story there). lol
I personally don't know anyone that regrets having had the surgery. Even those that had difficulties afterwards. It only gets better down the road in life!
The top photo is current, the bottom left is preop, and right side is one yr out.
