This was fun on Friday! Today, DD is marching with the local high school band at the superbowl - one of the out of stadium venues - so she'll be gone til kick off. DH is holding the couch down while I peck away at this keyboard and juggle cleaning and laundry. We're going to a SB party tonite, looking forward to hot wings - yum!

Growing up I had an uncle that was a football freak! Every weekend that there was a game he would plant himself on the couch and then rant, rave and scream at the TV. Honestly, it must have been too much for me because I hate football and flinch when I am in the vacinity of any person who acts like that when a game is on. I really believe that because of all that, if I had ever dated a guy who was like that I would have ended up making a break for it.
I know so many people that get excited over Superbowl. Hell, it's bigger than a national holiday. I appreciate that and hope everyone has a wonderful time of it!
Tomorrow I'll watch/read on the internet about all the great adds and commercials!

I married a sports freak so I've acclimated to the craziness - heck I even pay attention sometimes LOL! Mostly, I like the party atmosphere --- It's sorta fun since it's here this year ~ lots going on in town (which is why I'm staying home  )

We are home. Gonna watch it and to tell you the truth I mostly enjoy it for the commercials. But we also have kids who get up quite early for school tomorrow
so we stay home and have some munchies and pizza and we are doing a little superbowl pool with the kiddies. big prize for the final score is 10 bucks. They are excited. So yeah nothing too exciting here. I think Pittsburgh is gonna win but I am shooting for the underdogs--Cardnials.

well as you all know that was one of my before surgery worries. Surgery on the 28th and a super bowl party today. I am soooo glad I didnt cancel our tradition. We play poker and watch the game. We have our own little pool $10 a person. It all adds up to a great time. I took a little nap this morning so I am hoping to make the whole game but if not I know where my bed is
I think I am a bigger sports nut then my husband or son. I just love watching the games. I dont even have a favorite football team. I just like to cheer for the opposite team of who my husband is cheering for...lol. He is cheering for the Cardinals, so GO STEELERS!

well, now that its Superbowl 45 in 2011, I will be wearing my # 12 jersey, wearing my cheesehead hat, showing off my Green Bay tat and watching the game with my beloved in-laws, who are all divided right down the middle..some are avid Steeler Fans,(poor pitiful brother-in-laws) the rest Cheeseheads. There's a couple of Viking fans but they will probably just be sulking in the corner. But we probably wont get into any fistfights, cause we get along great all the of rest of the year the except football seaseon

7 of my 8 children will be home and we will cheer on the Steelers--we always have lots of fun food that will include barriatric friendly foods--We have a huge couch we all snuggle on and fit-- including fiance's. Family is everything to me and any excuse to party and snuggle with them is AWESOME!!
