| WLS Mentor | the longest for me was about 60hrs. I was in a rock a thon with my youth group, (we sat in rocking chairs and watched movies with a half hour break every two hours). it was a two day event, so with being awake before i got there, and then getting home i was probably awake for that long if not more. Boy did i sleep well when i fell into bed after that. Now that i have narcolepsy if i'm not busy i'll fall asleep within the hour.Another long time for me was about 23hrs. My best friend and i were at the cottage and we decided that we would try to stay awake for a full 24 hours but fell asleep about an hour before we made our goal. we made the mistake of lying down to chat and we both fell asleep.

BUT we followed zebra around for years all over LONG ISLAND .....before they signed with ATLANTIC records.

| Super Moderator | Hi christy, good to see your face. Hope your Mom's doing well, and you still have a lot to do, I can see. 5 days in labor?!!! All I can say is WOW For me, hmmm...probably 24 hours at most as far as I can remember, studying for exams, usually. I've experienced enough 36 hour days--regular day, on call night, regular day again, on my job while I was training, then house staff, though of course, we manage to get snitches and snatches here and there between emergencies, once the patients are settled down for the night.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | 3 days while in college... Can't believe how Nasty I get when I'm tired... my poor roomie (who was my boyfriend at the time... tehehehehe). Needless to say, we broke up shortly after... maybe not because I was up for three days, but my nastiness didn't help the situation. Oops!

Weight Loss Method Controlled Eating & Exercise | I generally do one 36-40hr day per two weeks or so. Kinda takes it out of you for the next couple of days after. But I get lots of work done over that time. Adrenaline keeps me pumping. The visual in front of the computer, the key tapping, the brain thinking. Quite different from being in front of the tv. I can fall asleep in front of that real easily. But thats understandable when you do big hours. Health, hmmm. I know that it is not the best. |
