Looking back from here, I can see that there were some great "lasts" that I didn't appreciate at the time.
I think my best "last" was that I played Santa at the children's Christmas party at church a week before my surgery. That was the last time anyone will ever ask me to do that!!

Having to wait for them to get the WIDE wheel chair for me to go into the hosptial or out of the hosptial. Even up UVA they once admitted they had to take me up in a wheel chair and down when released. They didnt have to page for the WIDE wheel chair. I dont to ever have to ride in one of those again unless its because they have nothing but one.

Hmmm I think mine was the last time I had to squeeze my huge ass into a chair that didn't fit because it was made for a normal-sized rear. The Friday before surgery I had to testify in court for my job and I was thinking to myself "great, I have the "pleasure" of squeezing my ass into one of those chairs ONE LAST TIME!"

I think my best last was last Tue. when I was getting a shower before going in for my tummy tuck. I have had to hold the slab of fat and skin up to wash under it for so long. I thought well this will be the last time i will have to do this again. lol that is a good last for me...

Having to step up a stair one step (side by side) at a time-
one foot up then next foot up to meet it;
then next step.... one foot up, next one to meet it, then next step........  Now I can actually step up one foot and go right to the next stair with the other foot, no more side by side stepping for me. YAY!
Unless my knee bothers me then I have to revert back to the old way temporarily but that's usually only if I overdo things in the day.
