Question What about Curves?

I joined Curves last month in anticipation of my surgery, and was wondering if anybody post-op does the Curves workout? The first month I lost only .5 pounds, but i lost 13 inches total over my whole body!!!! Just wondered if any post op people had success?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

That is awesome! 13in in a month!!! I have not had surgery but I workout in the gym so I am of no help there. I just was wondering how Curves was. I was thinking of trying it out. How do you like it?

So far, so good. I am not big on working out and staying with an exercise routine, but for some reason I can do this. I also got my 2 teenage daughters to join with me, and it helps alot. Of course, the workout only takes 30 mins 3x's a week, and I get my heartrate up, so I think it's worth it.

I've only heard positive things about it...except for the cost.

Why were you bored with it, Kenyar?

Also, do they let you go MORE than three days/week if you wanted to?

I liked it but couldn't afford it in the long run.

It si very expensive but I have a coupon for $30 for 6 weeks so I might try it. I am hardcore when it comes to working out so I am afraid it might be too easy.

30 min. is plenty...the whole spent time working out like 2 hrs is ridiculous. When I was training for the fire dept test in 2004 I ran 45-55 min 6 days a week pretty much but the workouts were for intensity and strength, heavy weights for 20-25 min only and I was working out with a marine! lol ..what a cutie.

the women I've known who go to curves absolutly love it, the only women environment,etc..I like working out with men so I don't have those issues. But I understand it's a very encouraging environment and very workable to get into the schedule each week..THAT is what keeps people on track..it's gotta be workable.

I was using a place that mirrored Curves and it was awesome! But my husband bought me some stuff for the house and it is so much easier to just do it at home. And yes, you can do 7 days a week 2x's a day if you want to. It all depends on you, how you decide to get your workout in.
