Default Exercise for the Obese & Sore!

I haven't been working the past 2 months and I've been pretty immobile. The past couple days I've actually been active and MAN I'm sore. I wake up stiff and it is so hard for me to get around. Could be my period, the heat, water retention, etc but WOW. Any ideas how I can avoid this? I go back to work tomorrow so I guess it'll get better but I'm to young to feel this old!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I have fibromyalgia, and experience muscle pain and stiffness to one degree or another almost daily. I've found that the best medicine is exercise, believe it or not. There are some days I hurt too much to go to the gym, but I walk for 15 minutes a couple times those days. Just getting up and moving helps me stretch and lessens the soreness. I also try to lay flat on my back on the floor with my hands above my head and just stretch. Sounds silly, but it really helps!

Make sure that you take the time to stretch. That makes a huge difference. You may want to slow down a bit on the exercise. It is good to feel stiff, but it should be a comfortable stiffness, not a feeling of extreme pain. Exercise is best when you start out slow and gradually increase as you get stronger. 8 months ago I started walking at a slow pace for 30 minutes per day and now I am running 10km and training for a 1/2 marathon. In the past I would go so extreme with exercise that I would just give up. Taking it slow really worked for me and I have stayed committed for over 8 months. Work out tapes with the exercise ball are great and generally easier on the body.

it does get easier, you will be sore at first, but the more you keep with it, you wont be sore anymore
