Default excercise..

It's hard for me to excercise..............Just laziness from a days' work.. .. ...
I have two small children a 5yr old and 8 month old ...and I work 8 hours a day ..My commute is a hour going to work...about over an hour coming home......
By the time, we actually get home its: cook, do homework, take a bath, take clothes out for tomorrow, and by the time we finish.... I'm beat.!!
My boyfriend help with my lilttle one..But, he can't cook....

It's just hard times ...
What do you suggest?
How do actually start to take excerises as a routine ritual?
Should you excercise everyday? For long?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Exercising everyday is the best. It doesn't have to be anything special. 15 minutes is better than nothing. In your case, doing something before you go to bed and making a habit of it seems to be the best time. You may feel beat, but a few stretches, a 1-2 lb weight, may actually able you to sleep better.
Other than that, if you can go for a walk, that's good. If you can't leave the house, as it was suggested in another thread, giving the ball and band might be worth a try. Especially the ball. Sit on it instead of a chair when at your computer.
When you get used to what you are doing, try to increase the length of time to up to 30-40 minutes if you can.

Make a habit of the regular exercise, and you'll find that your body will want that exercise daily.

LEEJA, I can so relate. It is just not a behavior that has vever felt natural to me. The closest I come is raquetball and dancing. Both of these feel more like playing than working out.

Craig has a good point.
Finding something you can enjoy will make it easier.
Dancing is good exercise, actually. Well, snuggling with your loved one to a slow and smokey tune may be not so much, but even that has you up on your feet and moving. Ballroom dancing and swing dancing are very obviously good exercise, even strenuous at times.

Was there anything you enjoyed, or wanted to do as a yound girl? Maybe, now is the time to give it a try.

I started going to bed early, rising early and exercising before I shower and get ready.

I used to destress by eating once the kids went to bed. No more...I do something good for myself at 6am instead of abusing myself at 10 pm.

I usually do an hour, hour and a half, but ironically that's because I'm lazy. I do stretches, 30 min on the bike or elliptical and piddle around with weights. I bought a set of weights for home and I can do stretches and weights at home when I watch TV if I'm motivated enough. I don't have to work outside the home though.

As far as dancing goes that is my absolute fave way to exercising. I grew up in a family where we learned how to clog dance and it got me hooked. I like a lot of Black Eyed Peas to get me moving, or maybe something like Toxic, by Britney Spears, or some of Fall Out Boys music. I love to listen to Phantom of the Opera or Josh Grobin, but it isn't exactly the stuff that makes me want to strut my junk, ya know? I would like to suggest Latin dancing though. All the hip movements couldn't hurt your waistline.
