Question Exercise....maybe a bad thing?

I know, I know, I know it's not a bad thing I just need reassurance.

So, a little over 2 weeks ago I joined a gym! I have never been to a gym in my life! The whole experience was a bit intimidating, but so far I really, really like it. Prior to joining the gym I was walking for about a 1/2 hour, maybe a little gazelle action, and light weights for the arms. (maybe 3 nights per week) Now, at the gym I am doing 35 minutes on a bike, 30 minutes of fast walking/semi jogging on a treadmill, little bit of circuit training-sometimes (weights) and TRY to do the elliptical for at least 5 minutes-it's REALLY HARD!! (4 times per week) I know I am doing more-I feel it. HOWEVER, the scale seems to be at a standstill since I've started! I know i'm probably building muscle, but when will I start losing again???? It's a bit discouraging, and I feel like I'm falling behind....

Also, I know this isn't the right area, but I have to share this!!
I've been pretty satisfied with eating after surgery, but I've honestly been missing soda, or so i thought. My Mom bought me Minute Maid Light Lemonade-it did the trick!! They are sold in the soda "section" and come in 12 packs of 12oz cans. I guess I was just missing the metal can! LOL Soda cravings are GONE- for now!

1 can has 5 calories, 2 carbs, and 0 (yes zero!!) Sugar!!!
It's a very nice once in awhile break from the water!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Its VERY discouraging. I'm right there with ya. A few weeks ago I bought an elliptical and have been using it everyday since. FOR TWO WHOLE WEEKS i lost nothing. I know the exercise is good for me, but the scale not moving is HARD to deal with. it will move again for you though. Patience. Remember your body is also trying to catch up for all the weight lost ONTOP OF building muscle. Dont stress.

Keep up the good work with the exercise. You totally wont regret it

Okay, so it's only 2 weeks since you started going to the gym, right?
It's still too early to say things, one way or another.
So, even if the scale isn't moving, how about your inches? Your cloth size. Is your exercise gear getting a bit loose since you started out? If so, you know you're losing there for sure.
((((((HUGS)))))) May your journey go well.

I been going to a gym even before the surgery.
I went on a 3 months leave of absense
and when my surgeon gave clearance i was back!

I however, only would belong to a womens ONLY gym.
THE place i go is for women and alot in my age group.
THE nice thing was a won a few contests too for most
lbs and inches lost in a month during my time which was
fun!!!!

As far as soda i have yet to have one post op!
AND i was a DIET pepsi addict...for 20 years.
I dont do coffee so that was my caffine fix.
I do go thru alot of phases of drinks post op
i get on a kick drink it so much i have to stop!
MY favorite just change in flavors has
been PROPEL!
and that was a drink i did from day one
home from the hospitol!

I have had the mintue made you talk about.
I am also a very big DIET SNAPPLE APPLE drinker
but i can only find it in few stores and by the bottle
only not a case!
LOVE that stuff too!
my drinks change often!
I think im still hooked on propel MANDRINE ORANGE but also had a kick on the strawberry kiwi and melon for a bit
