Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I am much better about exercizing since back to work. I take my morning break and walk fast for 15 minutes. I keep extra anti-persperant in my desk so I can freshen up when I return and not smell out the joint all day. At home I kept thinking, I have all day i'll get to it. Well guess what, I never did. My next hurdle is to tackle the stairs!

Oh man...I started swimming. I feel like a train hit me, I'm so sore.lol
I have a hard time too with the exercise thing. I promised my doc. 4 weeks ago that I'd start so here I am, a month later but I've been walking and swimming for a week now. I'm with ya, Rozzy!

I just don't want to waste my first 6 months of the best weight loss that I can achieve. When your doc is telling you stuff like you did not do all this for nothing then you feel so bad.

On top of that I have to continue to go monthly until I have a decent change in weight so hopefully next month when I go back I will have lost a significant amount of weight.

I will conquer this!

start small so it doesnt seem overwhelming. walking is free and you can go at your own pace! even if you just go around the block or around your community once a day to begin, its once more than you were going before. You will build up to more laps. You will see a dramatic change. You can do it!!!!!! COME ON ROZZY!!!!

Start small and work up! I am learning from you all that exercise is super important this first 6 months. Maybe if you make a list of what activities you like to do, you can focus on those first and toss in the things you absolutely hate in between. Then you have a day to look forward too.

I myself am looking forward to getting back in the pool. I have been told I have to wait until incisions heal. Its been awful hot here so walking is icky, but when the sun goes down, there is no reason or early in the AM. I have to set my mind.

Keep a journal. That might help.

Best of Luck to you - you can do it!

Rozzy Im kinda surpirsed that your doctor told you your loosing enough. Your stats show that you have lost 60 pounds. THats alot of weight!!! I think that is supper so far.
And it is hard to get into the routine of exercising. I was there not to long ago. But I did start out just walkign a tiny bit. When I went back to work after surgery I made a point of setting my alarm every am at 5:30 am and I go before work. It was slow going at first Im not kidding. But now I pop out of bed every day and get that walk in. I look forward to it. Who would have ever thought me looking forward to an exercise walk. Never in a million years. And just in the past few weeks I have added another walk in the evening. And I look forward to that too. So it does get easier trust me. Like I said, I was never an exercise person before. Hang in there Rozzy

You will conquer it! I am having a hard time with it - but I am determined to do it every day. I went tonight for a walk and I listened to my ipod. It was fun. I feel so much better. I will pray that you will conquer this and get moving. Use that tool to its advantage!

Making a habit of exercise is hard. Especially when you are trying to start up.
It gets easier soon, though, and once the habit is estabished, you will find that you feel out of kilters if you miss your exercise!!
Hang in there, start small and slow as Kenya says and build up. Eventually, you'll start looking forward to increasing your pace.
Which reminds me. Time for me to get ready and go workout at my gym.
