Default What can you do to exercise when...

I have some problems with my ankles and lower back. Dr wants me to exercise to get some endorphines going on to help my depression. but I am finding the pain in my ankles and lower back holds me back. What can someone do to get the exercise that is needed. Also I have a Chest Problem (excess flab) coming on Being a Male having what they call side boob's, I need to tighten up the muscles once again.
Dr feels that exercise will also help with my depression that I have been fighting over the last month or so. So I really need help getting it started.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

arm or upper body exercise is a good start. i dont know how badly your ankles and back hurt but can you walk for maybe 15-20 minutes at a time? nothing big, maybe up and down the hallway? it might actually help with the depression. i dont know if there is anything scientific behind it but i always feel "good" during and after my exercise.

Aquabics--exercise in the pool can help your ankles and back, as water helps take part of the load off your feet.

I just recently started doing water aerobics and they are a blessing!! So much fun but it is so easy on all joints and body parts! You get a great work out with out the sweat and with out the soreness the next day! I love it!!!

Good evening everyone and water exercises are the best. Just make sure whether in or out of water that you keep proper form in mind and sequence of largest to smallest muscles (legs, chest, upper back, shoulders, arms, wrists, neck, stomach and lower back). One's stomach and lower back is suppose to be last b/c they are your stabilizer muscles. They help keep your proper form with all the jerky movements. Otherwise always and again I'm proud of you all. If you need any workout routines or change in your work routine don't be afraid to ask. Take care, God Bless and have a good one. Kyle NCPT (nationally certified personal trainer)
