Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

A friend of mine said that in new studies they found that 50 year olds that worked out rigourously for 30 min per day lost and maintained weight loss and were healthier. As soon as we move again... final time for a LOOOONNNNGGG time... I plan to put the community walking paths and the elliptical i bought in to goooooooddd use. I think this thread will be good.. .i need to also start making a habit of posting on the what i ate today thread...

I had been thinking of increasing my regular exercise for years (I've been taking tennis lessons once a week for over 20 years now) but never getting around to it. One day, while I was watching TV and channel surfing, I thought "OMG, how boring and stupid all these programs are!" and went out then and there for a brisk 30 minute walk. Although I've changed the exercise from just walking to aero bikes and weights at the gym, I've stuck with my 3 days a week schedule since then.

Doc, I do that on occassion, too. I sit there channel surfing and think, "what am I doing?" It is then that I put down the remote and do something different. I have an elliptical machine and the new place we are moving to (hopefully) has walking paths and a lot of out door things to help keep me moving.

Shelbi, for me, it wasn't "on occasion". It was for keeps. I went out for a walk, and ever since that day, until I switched to the gym, I walked, increasing distance and time, until I was walking about 5 miles in one hour.

Confessions from a Non-exerciser here!!!! I do try to but I don't as much as I should.

My mini goal is to so maybe my arm muscle will build up and then the saggy skin won't be so obvious.

Thanks for helping to jump start this for me Lisa. S

Okay so I didn't get to the gym at all last week, but my son is out of school and I did do a lot of playing around the yard. I also did a good workout in Manhattan Saturday including a lovely little march... "wink, wink" I will tell more about that later.
