I am a year post op. For the past 2 months I have been weight training pretty heavily, and am enjoying the results.

I have a Dr's appt soon so I will definitely ask the Dr., but I want to know if anyone else is considering or is currently taking creatine as a suppliment.

I am wanting to bulk up a bit more, as far as muscle mass, and creatine will help in this process, but what I am wondering if it is safe for me given I went through rou en y.

Anyone here take creatine to help bulk your muscles?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Until everything settles down and your body is used to your new plumbing, you probably shouldn't try adding something extra just for the effect. You will not be able to power lift for a while post op, either, your surgeon may not release you for heavy training anywhere from 3 to 6 months out, so be prepared for that.
Learn first the basic correct nutrients and supplementation for RNY bypass, and then branch out from there.

I don't recommend it at all from my own experiences with it when I was training to take the fire dept CPAT..(2004)

if you are going to try to bulk you have to....read this carefully

------->>>>>EAT OFTEN<<<<---------

when I was training hard I had food in my mouth every 2 hrs from waking up to going to bed...protien protein protein..so bulking is very tough. I got tinier and tinier and much more muscled and I NEEDED to bulk up but found it was just not gonna happen.

but the only supplement I did in addition to the protein drinks was L-glutamine powder.

creatine made me vomit, one..and two I didn't like how it effected me at all.

BULKING post op, even further out is very hard work. you have to work out differently.

So that said...a year post...that is really in my own opinion too soon to work on bulking and believe me i KNOW the drive to want to get there! It's just you are soooo not done with losing your weigh..i promise!
