Default It's Sunday May 22nd! Are you exercising or resting?

Good morning! I know it's Sunday and that this is suppose to be a day of rest. Some will and some won't and either is okay. I didn't get the thread going yesterday and didn't get my exercise in til last night. I walked 2.6 miles(in the rain). Even though I didn't walk as far as I normally do, I bumped up the pace and shaved 5 minutes off each mile! Today my workout will come in the way of gardening. I have to get the rest of my veggies in! Have a great day friends!

Good for you Dixie! We all need a day of doing absolutely nothing! Our bodies tend to thank us for those days especially as we get older. Today I don't have a structured workout but I've been working in my garden for 4 hours. The rain is due back tomorrow so I'm taking advantage of the one good day I have.

I walked around the pond here 2x I will take another walk in a bit and I had my first weigh in this morning (on my scale) and I was down 8.5lbs so only 21.5 more before I am low enough to get my doctor to submit to insurance

I just had to take advantage of the fact that my kids were with their grandparents for the weekend, so I spent the day out in the yard -- pulling up grass to make new bedding areas, planting perennials, and even mowing our entire lawn. I was outside for a good 5-6 hours today. I felt great! It wasn't until I was done that I reveled for a few minutes in how effortless everything seemed today, how I dug up all that grass and hauled it by the wheelbarrowful over to the dump pile, and then got down on my knees and back up with planting the perennials without any issues. Life is good!

I had a dream last night I gained all my weight back plus more. So this morning I got up a d walked fora hour and half. Don't know how far that was we are in Panama city beach and I didn't have any thing measured out.

Today was my rest day, I walked the 5k yesterday and finished it in 63 minutes! I was pretty happy with that, the last time I did a 5k I was 125 lbs. heavier and it took me almost 2.5 hours to finish! So I'm real happy with my results this time around, we may do another one the first weekend in June.

Sat & Sun are my rest days. I workout 5 days a week twice a day. Im very proud of myself because Im jogging 2 miles 3 days a week I couldnt run 2 mins before my weight loss

Sunday, I did "
Jane Fonda Fat Burning Jane Fonda Fat Burning
" video. This is an older video but works every muscle of the body and has an awesome stretching segment! Saturday was a 54 minute bicycle ride. Today will likely be - not sure - maybe a day off (haven't taken a day off for a while) or the pedals by my computer. Have to do lower body because am due to rest the upper body (did weight training yesterday with the video). Cannot do an early bicycle ride because have a doctor's appointment later this morning (just the yearly check-in). Hope everyone has a nice day!
