Default Tuesday, Sept.13th, How are you moving today?

Today I am moving sloooowly, but at least I'm moving again. I know its been a few days since I started the exercise thread due to Sundays ER trip and then not feeling too well. I hope that anyone feels free to start up the thread if it's not up already. This morning I walked a mile and a half and it did me in, but I feel pretty good having done it.
I had an unexpected boost halfway up the road when I ran into a neighbor who lives up thhat way. He told me that I had inspired him to start walking some and watching what he was eating. He has lost 25 lbs! I told him that was fantastic and that I could see a difference! I also asked him if he felt better and he said yes! (Always the # 1 reason) This was such a high to know I could be a role model for healthy living! Never thought I'd be saying that!
Anyway, I want to remind everyone that people are watching and learning from our behaviors even if we don't know it... especially our spouses, kids and grandkids. There is no better way to teach than by being a living example.
Happy exercising today!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Glad you are feeling well enough to do some walking, you did good and I love that your neighbor has been inspired, I know that had to make you feel good and good for him getting out there walking and losing some weight!!

Today I'll do the treadmill I'm going to try to get in 30-40 minutes. Yesterday I started with the personal trainer and I'm sore as all get out! I did an hour with him yesterday morning at 6:00 then went back to walk on the treadmill for 35 minutes when my DH got off work. Got up this morning and could hardly move!! LOL No pain no gain though right?

Wow Nell, you did get a good workout in yesterday! Good for you... though I'm sorry you're so sore today! Did you ever find out what the weight challenge thing was at your gym?

I am slow..slow, slow. I am going to post. But the last few I just feel wiped. I am betting it is from still recovering from the surgery. Heck, it has been just less than 2 weeks. And i am only eating 3 oz of food a day so I am sure that has something to do with it.

I did not want to get out of bed this morning (10am) and I have tried to rely on hubby to clean...but he is tired of it and he is slowing letting things go and I am about bonkers with the kitchen as I am a kitchen clean freak!!!

This is normal right?

Yep I got a Facebook notice about the weight loss challenge, I'm still trying to decide if I'll join it or not, I keep thinking it might be more than I can handle.
