What about exercise? I know walking in the beginning will help..but has anyone joined a gym? What about Curves?
I have a gym membership That I put on hold for now...just want to know how long before I can go back.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You'll need your surgeon's clearance before you start anything other than walking. Ask him when you can start what at your first post op visit.

You need to ask your doctor about exercise. I had surgery on September 15 and at my 1 month check-up I was cleared to exercise, but waited until I was about 6 weeks out to begin mostly because I was coaching and then went to visit family. But I have joined a gym and 4 days a week I do crossfit (which is like p90x on steroids) and 2x a week after crossfit I do Muay Thai, and I am loving it, as I lose more and more weight I find I am better able to complete the workouts.
O and I have found that it is way easier to work out if you have buddy to motivate you but that's me.
Hope this helps
