Okay, please help me all you arm excercisers!

I am doing some arm excercises to prevent the bat wings. I have 2 - 5 lb hand weights and I am doing over the head, over the head with arms bent back to get the muscles under the biceps (sorry I don't know the names), arms extended and back down to sides (like I'm flappin' my bat wings) and the one with your arms at sides and going backwards.

Any other ideas to keep the bat wings away???

Don't laugh, but I bought the shake weight and man does it work! It's 5 pounds and You just shake in front of you for 6-10 mins and you feel that you've had a 30 minute resistance workout.

You are doing tricep extentions, you could try tricep dips, thats when you put your hands on a bench facing out and then your legs straight out and lower and lift your body. I also am trying some skin toning lotions from Mary Kay to help tighten up my skin. Results remain to be seen I just started. Good luck

I bought an excercise band that came with an excercise DVD. I find that helpful, although I'm going to be starting swimming soon. Thanks for posting this, I have a bat wing thing going, with boney shoulders. LOL

Besides the ones you are doing I was going to mention the same one that wittyirishgirl suggested. I do these off a low window sill in my house and boy can you feel the burn! I also do the same triceps exercises that you're describing but I use resistance bands instead of weights.

Jasmarie, I want to get a shake weight cuz I've heard really good things about them!
