Hi there,
Yes I know it has been a very long while sorry my life/work are so hectic!
My sister will do the GBP surgery Saturday, please pray for her 
I don't know how courageous I was 2 years ago! I feel so scared for her and all bad thoughts are crossing my head!
The great thing is that she's really relaxed and she's totally going for it, unlike me I don't know why I'm anxiously worried about her?!
Would you please gather your prayers and good thoughts for my beloved sister, I love her dearly :~)

It is wonderful to hear from you. Your sister is in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. You sister has you for a mentor. being you have gone threw it and she has a pretty good idea what to expect but it is still not like going threw it yourself. My daughter had it done and I had a pretty good idea but when I had the surgery I sure knew what she meant. Now her and I do eat a few things different, but mostly we look at the food nutrional value the same. Some things work for her and not me, plus vise versa. She can eat sandwich meats and has no problem at all and now with me, my pouch hates sandwich meats and sure lets me know. I think it is the processed foods where I have a problem with, my daughter does not. Now I will eat some potatoes and my daughter refuses to eat them, becasue of the carbs. but I watch my carbs the rest of the day if I do eat a little bit of potatoes. So that is a little difference between us. I am excited for your sister becasue she is going to have the first day of the rest of her life. She will be in my prayers.
