Phewwwwwwww, what a day it has been! We got up at 5am and got dressed to take Chris to his practice run at 7am...it didnt actually get started until after 7:30 and no one knew exactly what they should be doing. The school did a horrible job at preparing the kids for it mainly because they got a late start and didnt get to all of the kids! ARGH. THe made an announcement that one of the seniors that had cancer went to get his cap and gown last Friday and he passed away that weekend! Tears rolled down my face when his mom came up on stage and accepted his diploma! WOW! Then a young girl that was wheel chair bound had them stop before she got the diploma and she got up and walked a few steps to accept her diploma! There were tears all around that place by that point! We then went out to eat at a Japanese Steakhouse and there was a 40 min wait for the Hibachi table, so we opted to leave and go to Chili's. We ordered our food and it was a really long time before we finally got it and the steak that I ordered (Blackened, Cripsy, Burnt, Extremely WELLDONE) came out all pink and gross! I asked them to take it back and please remove it from our bill...I am very funny about my food and DO NOT like to send anything back to the kitchen. I made sure that my family enjoyed their food that FINALLY got to the table and I will be having a Protein Shake for dinner tonight. LOLOLOL All in all, it was a very different day, but hey, my boy is a High School Graduate now!!!! Woohoo! Me and dad are so happy and proud of him, we were not sure that he was going to make it at one point! Thanks for letting me share with you...pics are attached!

Congratulations, Mom and Dad...way to go! A "two hanky" ceremony, I see.  You look beautiful, Kim! Love the dress! RE: Returning food to the kitchen...I NEVER allow food to be returned after I send it back. I either get the food comp'ed or at least a free dessert, OR I promise to never allow anyone I know to eat there again. That happened to me at my son's jr. high graduation, at Black Angus. I told them that meat should not be grey, and the waitress gave me an attitude about it and THEN my stepdaughter, a waitress/barkeep with 8 years experience at that time, chewed out the waitress and manager. I said, "Oh, God...don't even bring me dessert. Don't even pour me more tea! CHECK PLEASE!!!" LOL
