My baby boy...well he isnt my baby but my middle child, Jonathon will be 11 in October. He just informed me he has arm pit hair and hair growing in above his lip..so I checked and yes my almost 11 year old has pit hair and lip hair....Where the hell did this come from? My baby boy isnt a baby anymore. His Daddy is gonna be shocked as ever when he comes home and their all grown up.

I know time flys so quickly! as if it was yesterday when they were little ones so helpless between our arms crying for milk or a diaper change and all of a sudden they're grown up with their unique personalities, views and belifs!
I can feel for you. You're such a wonderful passioante mom. Enjoy the moment and get closer to him and contaminate him with your love. I'm sure these moment will get rewined when we get older but with switched roles. We'll seek and expect their care and love when we get older. :~)

My friend, what can I tell you few blinks of an eye ago I was changing diapers today my two daughters are 12 and 13 and I went from Barney to how cute that boy is... and from big smiles to acne.
So I think thisi is just part of growing up and yes it is shocking, because this is a constant reminder this is a temporal Job here on earth. Please, Please don't stop here Enjoy everyday of your life with your kids. these surprises will be showing up in life and remember some we can influence other simply show up.
Hair in the pit that is nothing, wait for other changes....

LOL....my son came in yesterday.....dyed hair, over 6 feet tall.....and I"m thinking where on earth is the little blonde haired, blue eyed baby boy I had.....
Now his hair is dark, he has a beard and stache.....and he's taller than me....he'll be 19 at the end of July.....they grow up fast, don't they? I personally don't think I look old enough to have a nearly 20 year old kid LOL

I have yet to scan my son's senior pic proofs, but O M G that boy has all growd up. I said to DH, "He looks like Redford in Great Gatsby!"
He never showed me his hair...but a couple years ago, he was watching TV with his hand behind his head and I yelled, in true shock, "What the h**l is THAT???"  It was armpit hair. LOL And in typical mom form, I then asked, "Do you have it downstairs TOOOO???"
He watches TV in his room now.

The kids grow up so fast and before you know it they are out in the world on there own. My kids are 33,31,26, and do not know where the time went. My aunt told me when my kids were very little to enjoy them becasue they grow up so fast, expecially when they start school. Wow was she right. When the kids are little they depend on mom and dad so much and we are their whole world and then they get older and start to make friends in school and then that is more important than parents and then once they get to high school we as parents do not know anything and they are smarter than we are in their minds. So we let them experience their ups and downs with firiends and life in general. Then once they leave home we as parents start to become important to them again, because they call us for information and advice again. Then once the grandkids come along we are very important to them becasue they want the grandkids to know their grandparents and call for advice what to do sometimes. But the way I look at it with our children it always comes full circle. Like Hanadi said that when we get older that we need them as they needed us when they were young.

Becka~ I don't know you very well. How long has hubby been overseas?? I remember you having a countdown to when he comes home.
As for your almost 11 year old.. they grow up so fast don't they?? I still have a ways to go, but even my little ones are changing so quickly.
