I had posted awhile ago contemplating divorce, well i got a divorce attourney and the papers are all drawn up but they will not serve him until one of us moves out, so i brought up to my hubby once again that i want a divorce and he says he isnt going anywhere, so i guess the only way for me to have this happen is to move, which i really hate the thought of, this has been our home for 8 years and my daughter is gonna freak, i have brought up to her moving b4...it really sucks too cuz if i do move he will never be able to stay here and to find a house as nice as mine for the price i pay is impossible around here, but i guess these have been some of my same excuses for years...i thought having this surgery and getting "skinny" would change alot of things and make me feel happier...well it did make me WAY happier in alot of ways but not in marraige...i have so many ppl telling me you will know when you arte done and i feel that now it is just a matter of what to do about it, sometimes i feel like i could use going to a shrink, if only i could afford to...anyhow enough rambling...thanks for listening!!

Oh man, sorry to hear about your marriage falling apart. Only you can weigh the situation and what is best for you and your family. Is it worth staying in a comfty home and being miserable in a marriage or making a clean break and starting over and possibly being happy. I know it sounds good on paper but there's alot to think about. I pray for you to have strength & wisdom
Rosie

I feel for you. When my first husband and I split up 9 years ago, he refused to leave our home, and I had to move out. It was scary and exhilerating at the same time. I'd married him at 19 and went straight from my parents house to his, having never lived on my own. I hated to leave my house, but the kids (then 8 and 10) adjusted quickly and so did I. Ending a marriage is a very tough decision, and I wish you well as you figure out what's best for you. My ex and I remained friends, and we both feel we're better, stronger people after divorcing.

I was wondering about you. I remember you talking about a divorce and then you seemed to be doing family things so I thought maybe you had gone to counseling and were trying to make it work. Stay strong!
I have a friend who went through what you are. Her idiot husband refused to leave and I went with her looking at apartments for her and her two kids. Of course after she moved he put the place on the market. She wanted the washer and dryer so she said that was what it would take for her to sign the paperwork for sale. Well the SOB forged her signature on a quick claim deed and took it to closing and sold the place with the washer and dryer. She was still paying for them on her credit card.
But she survived and her kids are grown now and doing just fine. She has remarried and is happy now.
I am sorry you have to go through this and that your husband doesn't see it would be best not to uproot the kids. Maybe the light will dawn and he will realize that by staying everyone is unhappy. I will keep you in my prayers.
