That's what my Mom said on the phone a few minutes ago. She also said, I know you did everything to try to fix your weight problem, and I just want you to know I'm so very proud of you for making this decision.
Then we both teared up. LOL. It's lovely to have her support me 110%.

I am so happy for you. It means the world when parents are with you all the way. My dad went to my daughter that is before I had surgery and my dad told my daughter that he is very proud of my daughter how much she lost and is so happy that I am going to have that surgery. I knew they were happy that I was going to have the sugery but did not know How happy they were till my dad said that to my daughter. My parents have been worried about how heavy I was and with all the medical issues I was having at that time. My family are just so happy that I got much healthier after surgery now. That is great to have your family 100% behind you with your weight loss journey, it makes all the difference in the world.

That's awesome. I wish my mom was that thrilled. When I told her of my surgery date her response was "ok, I really wish you were not doing this but I hope everything goes ok" Then she asked if I wanted her at the hospital. I said "NO!" See when I was in labor with my daughter my mom stood over me crying the whole time. I couldnt stand it. I made them finally take her out of my room til I found out I was having a C-section. They let her back in before they took me down all she could do is sob.... I think it is better if I just have my husband call her when its all done.
I think its awesome to have the support of your mom. Your lucky!

Yeah I know she is scared. I keep telling her all will be fine. I know I am doing the right thing for me. I just cant wait til she sees how awesome this is going to be for me. I am sure she will be relieved when my husband calls her and lets her know at is well after surgery.

My mother-in-law is a professional worrier. When Peanut has her surgery, she isn't going to give her mom enough notice that she could hop a flight out. It's gonna be tough enough without the daughter having to care for a fluttering mother who came out to care for the daughter!! (It'd be easier for me - I could just stay at school, but I think Peanut wouldn't be very pleased with me!!  )
My mother wanted me to do something about my weight. I hope she knows that I finally did!
Enjoy your mother's love and support! It's a wonderful thing for you!!
