Default Jealous Husband...

Now don't get me wrong... I love my husband and he loves me, but there has always been a "trust" issue with the both of us, even before marriage. We've worked really hard on this issue, but it seems like now that the weight is melting off... he's really having issues.
I burry myself with work... always have... so, late nights are not uncommon... so he'll make comments like "Who's the guy at work?"... and I'm like "HUH? What guy?" and he gives me a look so I know what he means. Or now if we go out, I'm sporting jeans and a sweater or what not (cause I feel good and think I'm look'n good)... and he says "Oh you are wearing that? What happened to the sweatpants"... (well, if I wear the sweat pants we are both in trouble because they fall off of me AND why should I HAVE to wear sweatpants?!). Makes comments about my "boyfriends" and what not... sometimes it really gets on my last nerve. Is there anyone else that is dealing or has dealt with this? It's almost overwhelming... anyone have any suggestions?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I haven't had to deal with a lot of serious comments from hubby on this front other than his comments about my online "boyfriends". We had some issues then, but now he understands and knows that the couple of guys I do talk to online are not a threat and that there is nothing more to it. I did have to get rid of a couple guys that were starting to try to push boundaries though. There have been a couple of obnoxious guys that are around us that have gotten on his nerves with the comments, but other than that I think he kinda enjoys it so far. Some guys actually really like when their woman is admired by other men. My guess is just try to reassure him where you can and other than that, let him deal with it. You can't change him or his insecurities. They are bound to happen in this kind of situation. Do what is best for your health, yourself, and him and hopefully it will work out. Just don't let his issues make you give up and do anything stupid to prove a point. He will be testing the waters most likely just like a kid to see what he can get away with. Best of luck honey and I hope that it resolves soon.

talk to him.. talk about all subjects that make him develop a fear or a jealous.. discuss about any subjects that bothers you.. talk about the subject several time because it might be that all will not come upon the first time

thanks "guys"... sometimes he's just an uphill battle and sometimes it's as smooth as silk. I don't have anyone I can vent to... so I had to bring it here. I think I'm more disappointed in him than anything. I thought for sure he'd be happy to show off his wife and be proud of the work I've done. *sigh*

Hang in there pugmama, he is just probably still adjusting too. He is more than likely insecure and feels like if you look so good that other guys will pay you more attention and you would leave him for someone else. Guys are strange that way. They want you to look good but, not too good that you might find someone better. I am sure that adjustment stage for you both will take some time. If you have a strong relationship you will be fine. Keep up the good work. You will be happy in the end!!!! He loves you and you love him, sometimes it takes the stupid things in life to really make it show through.

I hope that things are improving for you here sweetie. Like I said, I have been kinda lucky in this department so far, but I don't know how easy it will be when my hubby leaves for six months and if he will be more jealous and uneasy then. I guess only time will tell. Work on your relationship in other ways if you can and try to make it as strong as possible while still losing and growing. One thing that might help is if your partner can find something that they are passionate about that they can improve in to help them feel like they are growing too. That way you can grow together instead of apart. Big huggs and I hope that you weather through this storm well.

One of the questions I was asked when I was preparing for my surgery was how secure I was in my marraige. I was shocked with that question and at that time I answered only as I knew how and said I was very secure.
My husband does not say very much, I get compliments and such but they are just that. I really do not know what he thinks.
I do know that where I work I get alot of comments from the clients I have and most of those are from men. I just take them as that but I find it best not to bring them up anymore at home.
Oh well it is a challenge and until we reach the end of this journey we have to comunicate with each other.
Me I talk alot...dah...him he holds things in. It makes it tough sometimes.

You will be fine and your husband must feel alot for you and how you are changing., sometimes we just need encouraged on how the other feels.
Just encourage him that you are his and only his....

Hey Lisa...pay the cash and go have a great time and have your hubby show off his beautiful new wife....strut you stuff.....LOL LOL
Wear something sexy.....and glamorous.
