Hiya Mate I am really sorry that you are getting all this negative input, my advice would be is to do what is best for you, so long as you have researched it and know what is right for you, then ignore anyones negative thoughts cos it is normally their own issues, ie. jealousy, worry, and concern that feeds it anyway... for me personnally I prayed about it and checked it out with God way before I even went to see a doctor about it , and once i got the go ahead from God nothing and nobody were able to effect how I felt, cos ultimatley I knew HE was in it, and i was just excited!!! Oh and friends and family soon come round when they see the amazing results....

Keep chatting to your new friends on here as they are a real lifeline, I couldn't have coped with out them!!!

God Bless Everyone!!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

There always will be someone who's against you--even if you were the US President, or the Queen of England, there will be someone who doesn't like what you are going to do. That you will have to live with.
However, you don't have to let them make the decision about your health and life.

No matter what they say, stay positive. I think being positive in any aspect of your life will bring positive things to you. Healing well, getting approved or just having a good day! It can't hurt. Stay positive!

Dont give them any updates anymore, You dont need this, you have tried and like you said its your body and your life and they are not the ones sitting on the side lines watching everyone else live. I think some people use being heavy as a cross over you like it makes them better then you because they are not heavy and perhaps they are scared they will lose that hold over you

I echo what everyone else has said. Lean on your parents for support and screw the rest of them. I have been very blessed in that I have received support from everyone. My mother-in-law was worried at first but she has changed her tune. Give it time and let them so how great you do. If they can't support you or accept you, then avoid them.

i know what you mean-- i actually wish i hadnt told anyone- some "friends" i told are not happy for me and i can tell. They feel like i have cheated somehow. The best thing i ever did was just go ahead and did it.
like the other member said when you talk about it-- it gets more negative everytime.

Do what is going to be good for you and your life!!! I found this surgery save my life and gave me more energy and I am able do so much more with the baby and the older kids. The surgey changes your life and others might not want that so they will be negative and try to change your mind. Just be strong and keep on your journey!

Good Luck!
