Angry Mxed feelings in my family

Ok So I go to my first drs appt This Sat. My mom who is all for this is going to go with me since my husband has to work. Well My dad is being nery suportive and the rest of my side but I am getting resistance form my mother in law who when I told her I was going to start the process she said in her nasty tone well if make you happy and this wil Finally make you happy then do it. Then she says that seh feels that I should not do this because I should be able to lose the weight on my own. Then her and my husband say I have not tried everything and I have. She makes me so mad. My husband says if I want to have it done he will support that decision but I will need to work at it becuase I have not done everthing I can. I have tried everything done everthing and somehow it never works for long. Most of my friends are being supportive but one is all a jelous one and talks a lot of junk about me losing weight and what it will do to me and my family. I can do with out friends like that. This is not a journey I really ever thought I would take but here I am and I am going to do this and do everythign I am supposed to do and thoes who can not handle it they can get out of the way. I want to live the life I have been given and I do not fell at this time I can. I miss out on so many things . NOT ANYMORE!!! Thanks for listening to me vent. Have a great day!!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Such people are vexations to the spirit! They refuse to hear the facts, but they never let their ignorance get in the way of their opinions!! We've all dealt with them, and the consensus is just as you have stated - let them get out of the way!!

Hang in there, and be prepared for them to start telling you that you're "cheating" by taking the "easy way" out. Of course, if you've read anything here you already know that there is no easy way. But just ask them why, if there were an easy way, they would object to you taking it. Is there some added virtue in doing it the "hard" way?

You had a awaking a lighting bolt as I like to say when you woke up one day and said no more. Until they feel that themselfs they wont understand.

We are here for you grab a hold and hold on tight.

Just try to ignore the inlaws. Look to your own parents for support. They seen like level headed people. Hubby will come around in his own time. As for the out-laws, avoid them as much as possible. The less said back and forth the better. Congrats on moving forward on this journey. We are all here for extra support.

You can't make everyone happy. The only one that matters is howyou feel. If you feel you have done everything then it is your choice and your body. We all have ad negative people in our lives, you just have to make the decision not to listen. Good luck with your journey ((HUGS)).

Stand up for what you want. Don't let anyone tell you what to do with your body. This is your choice and you are the one who will do the work to get to your goal. Good luck on your journey.. It is life-changing and so worth what you go through to get it.

Welcome to the journey!!

and whew..unfortunately welcome to the road of the NAY-sayers..those who just get ugly about stuff ..! They've probably always been that way and what's funny is when you lose the weight they'll still have ugly stuff to say!

You just stick with it hon! don't let it get to you!

(easier said than done I know)

You go girl! Nice vent Stay away from the grouchies ~ they'll suck the life right out of ya~~~

I've recently found a song I love by Celtic Thunder ~ one part in the lyrics of Caledonia says "I have moved, and I've kept on movin'; proved the points that I needed provin'; I lost the friends that needed losin'; found others on the way" ..... I think that is so discriptive of our journey. I'll get the link in case anyone wants to listen in
