BTW, Ronda, I like your signature quote. Re-read it and ponder on what it really means in this context. The Scriptures are to be applied to our own lives to make us better people, or what use are they?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

But, i believe the solution is... Don't treat you sister the way the treats you... you be the better person (as you have been) but keep a distance.. but tell her how you feel and why you feel that way and call it a day. Don't disown the child.. but treat her with a long handled spoon because you better believe she will be needing you real soon.

My mom sticks up for her all the time. She has even sat there while my sister has be little me and I said are you not going to say anything who is the parent here So that is a lost cause. I do want to thank everyone for your wonderful advice I will take it and use it you are all wonderful people.

I guess I am the only one who thinks absence makes the heart ever so happy so that I do not want to kill my brother any more....

The fact that mama died four years ago makes the jealousy and favoritism part almost moot. It will always be there, as he was the one that failed High School, grew pot in our back field and got suspended from school twice for having beer in his car and drinking at lunch.

ok, not going to dwell on that any more.....

I think we share a sister.

Anyway...You know the best thing for you to do is to become healthy. Move on with your life, be happy. Your niece and nephew will eventually become adults and you can resume your relationships with them at that time. Kids aren't stupid, they know what's going on. Your sis on the other hand.......well, what can I say. Anyone who would put you in such a state is not worth your time. Tell her to bug off!

We all have out birth families and our chosen families. Sometimes it is just best to lose our birth families.

This was really exacerbated after my dad died and my brother, older, took over and tried to mash me. I wanted mom to stay in home of 54 years and he wanted to move her closer to him.

I feel for you as I am the sibling who was always watching the dogs, kids, house, whatever my brothers and sister had a need for. I felt taken advantage of since I have 3 kids, who have since reached adulthood, and if I added up the time my 3 brothers and 1 sister had wacthed them over the years it would be less than 3 days combined. When I complained to my husband about this he told me something that i try to keep in mind to this day. He said no one can take advantage of you unless you allow it. So now when someone asks for something, instead of changing my plans and resenting it, I politetly and sometimes firmly(they just don't like the word NO) say I am unavailable. Has it been smooth....no...do I feel less taken advantage of.....YES.Good luck and remember she is your mother too. If you want to spend time with her without the drama, maybe you could take her out separately and spend some uniterrupted one on one time with her.
