Unhappy I am so upset

It is bad enough the Ken works nights , but now he has to go in 30 minutes earlier and stay and hour more in the mornings. Army Fleet Support is shaking everyone around and it is bad.

That almost cuts off anytime we have together in the week, and busts time on Saturday because he has to sleep.

I want to cry, but finally had to xanax I need to chill.

I can't let this effect my diet regimen, but it is going to be hard.

Dammit.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Its a rough deal but maybe some of that time you can use at your new curves.

Yeah, I am going in today in just a few minutes.

Geeez, it is like my first marriage. I never saw my husband at all because I left for work at 7:30 and he came home at 8.

I know it is in NO WAY ken's fault and he is just as upset as I am.

The new contract guys for the fleet out at Ft Rucker need to get their heads out of their @sses. They are taking a mess and making it is cluster ^&*%.

Let's see....He got home about 7:45 am, went to sleep at 9, gets up at 7pm and goes into work at 8:30.

But I am hydrating, had no med problem and am sipping on a protein drink. Am getting what few fruits I am allowed tonight and going to whiz them up to make a protein slushy. It is worth a go!

Glad to hear you're feeling OK & getting water & nutrients in as you should. Too bad about Ken's schedule. As hard it is probably is try to keep a positive attitude about the schedule thing. Ken probably doesn't like it any better than you do. Keep your chin up.

If hes sleeping during the day, maybe you can atleast take a nap next to him if he is a sound enough sleeper. Sometimes just being near some one can help. Is this a perminate deal or just a phase?

It will get better or they will grasp it better soon honey. Im sure its the current state right now and being in the military they feel it first for sure. I like the idea of having a nap with him to get up close to him and sleep. That has helped me alot..well me and the hubby both lets say. On my bad days I sleep alot so Mike crawls up in the bed with me and has a nap. Its like we got more time together.

It will get better when I have no idea but they eventually get it. My hubby would have to go on training trips to other states or countrys or even be called out in the field alot he was EOD. Those were long hard waits. I cant imagine him being deployed over seas. Take what you can get darlin and be thankful he comes home daily. I know that dont help but...... considering what could be its a help. Take care and try to look on the good side of it.

Vicke, ken is ever so retired! 26 years was enough for him! He is a supervisor for unscheduled maintenance for BlackHawks at Lowe Field on Ft Rucker. He knows those birds in and out.

AFS has decided that the supes need to babysit everyone in addition to the new meetings. Yay. So they have to make a sweep of all the hangers and......well they really don't know what they are to do as their mechanics have already gone home! AFS works overlapping shifts and they have their own guys. He guesses they will explain what he is supposed to do after they change their mind and have them do something else. Such is the wonderful Contracting Companies that work "for" the military.

Oh--and I can't go snuggle as he is the lightest sleeper I have ever known. Even the cats tiptoe around him.

It is better than him being over in the sand box, of course, but we do not need the added stress.

Blah. I am gonna go get a protein shake and try to get it down.

The Field Commander quit last night and is being replaced by the asshat that implemented the new plan.

The dude is now talking more hours because they are not getting enough birds flight ready each day.

Did I mention that the contractors that run Army Fleet Support have no real time experience with helicopters? Just on paper.

Do y'all have any idea how old those birds are that our boys and girls fly? Most of the fleet is at least 25-35 years old. They cannot get parts for the Alpha Models. They have to either jury rig it or make them.

They are getting 20 new birds next week. All Alphas.

They are lucky to get 50 or so ready on the flight line on a good day. And now they will have 100 to deal with. Can we say cannibalize machines?

I see massive overtime coming. It's not the manthings fault and he is now on the majorly pissed level. In fact he told them he did not want unscheduled maintenance and wanted to do the books instead. They are down three supervisors so they let him do it. They have no choice. They would never let Ken go unless he quit. He is the "go to" guy out there and they know it.

Ha. Same hours though. Less headache.
