Ct I love the post. And you are so right. Just getting off subject for a few moments a month really does help some. Yall see me do that from time to time and its a great help.

I think your idea is wonderful to say the least. Im not gonna toot my own horn here and I dont want anyone thinking i am however....

After having this surgery and the bumps and humps I have been though since and some of them being my own fault...... almost losing my life twice and knocking on that door......Im thankful every day of my life when I wake up. Even if the day dont go well for me Im alive upright breathing and taking nurishment. I have my family and my husband. Yall could ask him without me ever telling him what Im saying now and he would tell you I thank him so much he gets so tired of it. He really does. LOL

I could irritate him in other ways but I think thisis a great way to show my thanks....

I do get people looking at me strange when I thank them a couple of times for what they have done for me. Its all worth it. I know I have made a few peoples day because they have told me this. So im thankful so very thankful for eveything and every day I get to stay here................and I thank the Lord for each one of you all everyday.

Ct I thank you for alot...... especially being a fellow on this board with all these women and your still on every day or try to be and you put up with us. Thanks to all the other fella who try there best to check in daily weekely or monthly. I do like to see you all visit. I think I have told you all this before.

And I have to thank myself for relazing I was dying and took matters in my own hands to have this life saving surgery. WIthout it I would never have found you all to have more to be thankful for. SO THANK YOUALL!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

What a GREAT idea. In our family (including all the add ons like college friends, neighbors, etc) we say I Love You frequently as well as hug often. While we all know the love abounds in our family your post reminds me that a simple Thank You goes a long way to making someone feel special & appreciated for even the smallest things. Thank you CT for your eye opening post.

Default Thanks-giving

I always, everyday give thanks to God almighty for the family I have - my boys are just phenomenon. One is a teenager, in college and the other one is a few years away from being a teenager. They are both polite, full of manners, always helping out, getting good grades and just being great! My mother is another person I am thankful for. She is such a wonderful mother - always helpful and giving great advice. My sisters and their families are great too. They are just too wonderful and I thank God for all of them. My family is intact, we love each other, help each other out all the time, we do not hold grudges, we laugh, cry and move on. In all, I thank God for giving me the family I have. I will never think of trading them with any other one.

Have a happy and blessed Thanks-giving everyone. Just always remember what you have to be thank-ful for.

There was a time in my life where I was a plain ole spoiled brat. Sad, but true. Then, at some point, something changed ~ not sure what it was (maybe I grew up? LOL, no that can't be it ) Anyway, at some point my heart was changed to being thankful ~ I call it an "attitude of gratitude". This has truly changed my life and made my outlook so much happier ~ the ole count your blessings addage really does you good. So, thanks Perfesser, for bringing this idea to us
