Hey All,
My sister had her rny on Dec 1st and came home on Dec 3rd. She's doing really well. I'm proud of her for making her own decision. I'm helping her with her pureed meals, but I can't go back there with her! It's funny, I'm 5 months out, and some days I feel like an old pro at this; other days I'm floundering like crazy, but it all balances out somehow. Thanks to all of you for your support and prayers. I can start using some of the recipies on here now that I've got somebody to share with.

Oh I am happy for your sister. She has someone that has gone ahead and can a big help for her. That is great. I had no one around here that even had a clue of what this surgery is all about. This site has been my heart line. I don't know what I would have done without all these wonderful people to give me advice and support. I wish you and your sister the best. I bet she does well with a good role model there for her.

Good for her. Im sure you were her inspiration to do this. Good for you both. Its always good to have someone around close that has done this. I had my cousin that went and did it a couple years before myself and she helped me alot.

Thanks for the good news about your sister! It is so good that she has you, how much you must love each other!!!! I am doing this (surgery) with my daughter! I will have mine first and hope to be able to help her.....
