Question Husband just had surgery in Dec. I need help!

Hi everyone, My name is Lynne, and my husband is Dave. He just had GB Surgery Dec. 11th. He is still at the stage where he can only eat protein, and it has to be ground up, he dose not move on untill the end of next month. I need some new ideas of things to feed him, he is getting real tired of my cooking. lol He has been so good, he has lost 84Lbs already, and I am so proud of him. But I think he needs a little change, I live in Naples, Fla and we don't have any support groups here, so it makes it real hard, there is no one to talk to. So if anybody has anything could you please send it to me? you can post here or send them to my email which is dmlm1@earthlink.net If you let me know that it is one of the recipies I asked for than I will know to open it. Thank you all so much, I know it's asking allot, but I don't know what else to do, and I know some of you are allot further out than he is.
Thank you again, Lynne P.S. sorry for my spelling.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi Lynne...nice to meetcha...I am Valerie. Your husband is doing so GREATTTTTTTTTTTTT......it is soo wonderful that you are there for him!

Here is one of my favorite recipes:

Turkey Pesto Meatloaf
this is a personal favorite and I don't particularly care for spinach!!

Servings: 4
Digestible carbs per serving: 3
Protein per serving:
50

1 pound ground turkey
1/4 cup pork rinds
1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach, thawed
1/4 cup Pesto
2 garlic cloves
2 teaspoon dried oregano
3 slices mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. In large bowl combine turkey, spinach, pork rinds, garlic (minced), pesto, egg, oregano, salt and pepper.
3. Put mixture into 9-inch-5-inch loaf pan.
4. Top with Mozzarella cheese
5. Bake 45-50 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
6. Cool for 5-10 minutes and serve.

This will go a longggggggggggg way for a gastric bypass pt. I freeze portions in baggies that I label with a marker.

Please let me know if you try it

Good luck to you and your hubby!

My best to you both!
Valerie***
