I have been really stressed out lately due to trying to make sure that I can get my endoscopy scheduled in time for me to keep my April 4th surgery date. Today my insurance company called me and told me that I have authorization to make the appointment for a consult with a gastro specialist and that I will have to make the appointment for the actual test after that. When I called the gastro specialists office the only time they could fit me in is for tomorrow afternoon for the consult. I was crushed since tomorrow was the day that I was supposed to go and meet my big brother in Philly and spend the afternoon playing tourist. I was so sad that I wouldn't be able to see him, that my hubby agreed to go to Philly and meet my brother at his hotel at 8pm so that I could at least see him for an hour or so before he flies back home to Tennessee Thursday afternoon. I am so happy that he realizes how much a hug from my oldest brother means to me right now, since it is the closest I have been to any family for almost a year now, and this has by far been the most stressful year of my life. Well, I just thought that I would brag for a quick minute before hubby got home from running a couple of errands. Thanks for letting me brag.

How sweet, Janae. Kudos to your hubby for being a sweet, caring and intuitive guy! I'm sorry you won't have the chance to really hang out with your brother, I know how much I cherish the time I get to spend with mine, whether I have to go to Florida to see him or if I get lucky and he comes up here to see me. Have a great short visit with your brother and maybe next year you can get to Tennessee to see him.

Hi Janae,

Robin talks about you all the time! She mentioned that you posted something about your husband and I thought I'd jump in here for a minute while I was on line. He sounds like a great guy and that's good. You deserve it and you deserve to be able to see your brother, even if it's only for a short visit. I know how important it is for Robin to see her brother from Florida. I wish you were able to see him as originally planned.

She also mentioned that you are having your surgery soon. We wish you much luck and will be looking forward to hearing how you are doing.

Thank you for that Doc. My husband and I have been married for 7 1/2 years so far, and many people did not think that it would work out when we decided to get married due to our age, and how soon we got married after we met. He proposed to me after only 3 weeks of dating, and we were married 2 months after that. However, we crammed in more time together those first three months than a lot of couples find together in twice as long. We had never spent a full day apart from each other since our first date until he joined the last year in January and left for training. That was a very hard day for me to have to say goodbye to him. We may have our fights or arguments, but when it all boils down to it, he is my best friend and I love him completely for the support he is giving me right now. Okay, that is enough gushing for now.
