 |  Mom & her Partner got approved for RNY...
Mom and her Partner were so impressed with my surgeon and how she dealt with my surgery in April they have gone through the approval process and are beginning the last legs of the journey for RNY.
This last bit for them is that loss of 20 lbs to shrink the liver for the LAP RNY.
The Journey Clinic has been such a wonderful experience for them, staff, nutritionist, physical therapist, etc!
I am excited for them! They are planning to try and get their surgery the same day if possible..we'll see how that goes!
But it was nice to finally found out how that all was going. Plus they'd gone through a ton of food at home, thrown out a bunch of outdated food and then what was left sent home with my one son and I. (we live next door to each other mom & I)
I feel very confident with their journey having a good outcome.

Thats great Bree, dont over due now when they get thier surgeries, as much as we all know you would love to help out, your still gonna be on the mend...I bet the kids were jacked over all the food lol...we done the same thing before my surgery sent trash bags full of stuff (junk food food I knew i wouldnt be eating for sometime etc ) home with family, and they are like COOL lol...good luck to them both ! Will keep them in my prayers that the last part of the journey to WLS goes quickly for them and that they have successful surgeries and quick recoveries.
As SummerBreeze said, be careful that you don't overdo it trying to help them.
