So, I haven't been here for awhile - sorry, but I've been out trying to get back into a routine with work/exercise. Still haven't gotten there, but I'm getting closer.
Here's my vent - you may remember that my so-called best friend ditched me right after I said I was having surgery. Whatever...However, today was the first day I've actuall come face to face with her...AWKWARD!
She looks at me and tells me that I look great - am I getting used to eating differently? ETC - WTF??? IT's like we haven't talked in a week, not 15 months...
Just needed to RANT - sorry about that...You'd all be very proud of me - I held a conversation with her and was pleasant - trying to take the high road..

I agree with CT Aimee, trust is earned but it is possible that she just had a crazy, jealous moment whatever, there's always a chance people take the wrong road and we should be able to welcome them back if they then take the right road. Just saying maybe she deserves a second chance but of course it's up to you.

Honestly, I would not let her back in to my circle, which happens to be me and my R and R family plus a few people at my school. I think that is because I am not worried about how people view me. If I tell you something and your first reaction is to tell me how wrong and stupid I am, I really don't want to spend anymore time around you.

Good for you!!! Thats showing her! And yes, she knows she did you wrong, and yes, maybe she doesnt know how to apologise or repair the un-repairable.... Even if you did become friendly with her again, you will deep down know that you couldnt trust her when times get tough. I am so glad you saw her now though. It shows the strength you have gained and it prob brought it home to her how well you have done despite (or should that be INspite??lol) her abandoning you.
