Default Our family surprise!

This previous weekend, my sister in law called me Thursday night asking me if I had seen her 19 year old daughter, well of course my reply was no. I did not get overly excited at this point of time and told her to call me if she found her.

Well, Friday flew by and my sister in law called me Saturday morning in a frenzy and said, "WE GOT MARRIED...." She and her common law hubby of 19 years had got married Friday and did not tell anyone. She proceeded to tell me that her daughter still has not called her back for me to text her on my phone. I did and she never contacted me. I left her some pretty scary messages and told her to call her mother! By 1pm Saturday we are all concerned that she had not contacted a soul and it was not like her to not call someone once or twice aday even.

Well, I called my SIL about 3pm and asked if she had heard anything from her daughter and still no word. She was kind of sad because she was so anxious to tell her daughter that they got married! Well, I joked and said, "What if she went and got married too!" We laughed it off. I then said, "what if she went and had a baby!" and we laughed it off. I then said, "what if she got up there and killed her boyfriend and is scared to come home!" We did not laugh. I told my SIL that she had become really grippy and I just as soon not talk to her if she was going to act that way, but she could update me when they found her.

Two hours go by and a knock was on our door! I met my SIL at the door and say, "THERE IS THE NEWLY WEDS!" and she yells back at me, "AND GRANDPARENTS....SHE HAS WENT AND HAD A BABY!"

I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT. A month ago she is at my daughters birthday party and she was sitting down on my chair and I see a perfect basketball belly, when she saw me looking, she jumps up. She is tall and thin and wore hoodies and sweats, therefore we did not assume she was 9 months pregnant! We assumed she may have been 3 months, but not 9 months.

She was very moody, broken out all the time and her face swelled up. SHe stopped taking care of herself, no makeup and her tiny, skimpy clothes went to sweats and hoodies. We never caught on.

Little did we know:

Thursday evening, she was retaining lots of fluid and scared to death to tell anyone. (this did not make any sense, but pregnancy does weird things to a person, her being afraid part.)
Friday, she awakened bigger than dallas and retained 65 pounds of water, she knew it was near her own figured due date and went to Dr.

SHe had been passing out the entire 9 months and went to Dr. with bp of: 160/120 and liked to have died from a stroke or seizure. She never had prenatal care or check ups. SHe was induced Friday and was in labor all day. Her DR. finally delivered her Saturday and they nearly had to life flight her out. She came within seconds from a c/section. She is very lucky to GOD that she had a healthy baby and that she came out of this. SHe is still on bp medications but should be fine.....until I kick her rear end.

So, I am a great aunt to a healthy 7 lb 8 oz baby girl. 19 1/4 inchs long.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Default Hello Linda!

WHAT A STORY!!!!!!!! I had a cousin that did that very same thing. Well, not exactly, but had a baby and noone knew. We all suspected, but never any proof. She, to, was a tiny thing, and went from skimpy clothes to hoodies and sweats. That should have given us a heads up right there. I guess, we didn't want to believe it at the time, since she was only 15 when she had the baby. My grandmother was raising her at the time, and when she found out, we all thought that would be enough to put her over the edge. lol Not funny really, but she, mother to the child, is doing well right now with raising him, but missed out on alot of her childhood. The little guy will be 5 in August, and what a pistol he is. Good luck to her, and Congrats. What a family surprise, indeed!
