 |  Probably losing my mom
I'm really struggling right now because I'm losing my mom to an anerysm that is at its maxium and is probably leaking. There is nothing they can due for her other than treat the pnmonia she has. We want to bring her home to be with her dogs and family. Please pray. I'm having a relly hard time staying on track with fluids and supplements because my stomach is really upset over everything that is going on and am trying to operate on little sleep.

Dearest Judi,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. This will be one of the hardest parts of your life, somehow we struggle through it. Tell the hospital you want to bring your mom home, get set up with Hospice care if that is warranted. She would probably like to be with her dogs and back home at this most crucial time of her life. With some preplanning you can bring her home, but it can't all "be" on you. Right? You will clearly need to delegate responsibility. You can not do it all yourself; so have a family conference to be sure everyone is on board and will help. If that can not happen, ask the hospital about bringing her dog(s) in to visit. A lot of hospitals will allow this now if you can document the dog's shot record.
