Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Getting distracted can be a real big issue for many post ops. Stressors can trigger bad habits--ones that caused you to likely gain a lot of your pre surgery wt. Concentration on eating is a really big issue as an early post op. You need to learn to cut foods into small bites, chew food a lot, and swallow without drinking fluids. Distractions can cause you to get food stuck, eat too much too fast, swallow incorrectly, or return to old habits of drinking a lot of fluids with the meal. Many post ops have to eat by themselves until they get these new habits established. TV, argueing with spouses or kids during mealtime, phone calls during mealtime, etc. are all distractions which will cause you to eat incorrectly. If you've been supporting her financially and she has kids, she'll likely be back in touch with you shortly. Impulse statements can cause a lot of family strife and I hope your days get much better. Just give it some time.. She will remember just how much she needs you. Your grand kids wont let her forget. Just wait and see... I hope it works out well for you. Take care of yourself. This is your special time now.

Those rotten kids!! They should have waited until you are home!! Just kidding.
You need to take care of you right now. So, "let them go" for the time being.
The holidays are coming and I can't help but believe you will all want to be together for them.
Right now, focus on you and your health. GOod luck.

There is no way she will stay gone. I used to worry about the same thing but alas, the kids keep coming back. Poor kids will never get rid of me. Don't let the two of them put you in the middle. My two daughters are having issues and what I have told them and our grandkids is that " they are sisters, they will work it out or not. It's not about us and we are not getting involved. They used to fight as children and I guess they haven't grown up yet." So far so good. Don't pass messages between them either, stay neutral, set up boundries that they cannot include you or the kids in their problem. It will get better. hugs

I'm sorry you had to go through that, especially while you were in the hospital. I hope she comes to her senses and see that this is not the best thing to do. Take care & I hope things work out.
