| WLS Mentor  |  When I Watched You (here's another one written for my father) I watched you today You did not know that i was watching And love filled my heart Yet also sadness For the year's are telling on you And i wondered how much i alone aged you I saaw the pain asy you limped forward If it had been different What would you be? What would i be? When i was a little girl We walked together and played But then i began to grow Up and away And i was frightened and confused I couldn't tell you I was scared I didn't know So I showed it in my anger and shouting And i confused you And i broke your heart You've loved me forever And i know that forever you will But i'm still scared And i want to tell you But I don't want to hurt or worry you anymore For i know I have worried you And though things have changed And i'm supposed to be grown up I still feel like that little girl sometimes Who used to sit on your lap And hold your hand The one you kept safe Exdcept now i know more of the world And the pain that comes with loving I could never stop loving you So when i watched you today Tears stung my heart Though i kept them from you Because i know that in loving you And in your loving me I've hurt you and aged you If only i could turn back time And go back to being daddy's little girl Knowing no fear or pain But since I can't I now try to shelter you From the hurt that knowing would cause But in doing so Do I interfere in us knowing each other? So when I watched you today All these things came to me And I became afraid For watching I knew That we don't have forever Because we can't stop time And I know that someday we must part Forever So when I watched you today I wondered if you new How much I need you How much I adore you So when I watched you today I just felt I had to let you know poem bandit

| WLS Mentor | that is so true Doc. and for some reason it gets scarier every year as i see the signs of aging. Christy can't imagine what you must be going through and just wanted to tell you again that i am praying for you and your family through this difficult time.
