Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

After re-reading this,{I Don't Want To Be Looked At As A "quitter, That Couldn't Do It Myself With Willpower"
Most Of The People In My Small Hometown Have Known Me All My Life As Being Obese.} I realized it wasn't very positive thinking on my part...
all the folks know i've struggled all my live with dieting as you all have as well..
many people feel that opting for surgery is the "easy way out" although i clearly don't agree with this or i wouldn't be getting it done. i know i'll have a long road ahead of me.
my problem i guess is that i care so>.........much about what others would say, whether it be to my face or behind my back.
my self-esteem sucks at this point in my life which i'm sure comes much from the weight...
i hope & pray that will change after my weight loss.

sorry for the confusion.
there is NO WAY IN HELL THAT ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE QUIT ANYTHING!!! as proven in many of these forums of the struggles to endure, etc.
You are all an inspiration to me & I hope & pray to be as successful as you all have been!!

Love ya,

It is really sad that some people would judge us and call us quitters. Actually we've been fighting most of our lives. And then to go under the knife, change our lives, take this journey...hell, we're the farthest thing from a quitter, we are the ultimate fighters. We know that, that's all that matters.

that's what my mom said!!
she said its my own business what i do to my body. my choice. nobody has been around to help with the hundreds of diets i've been on or any of my struggles throughout life with obesity..
although my cousin, whom i have the most concern with IS one of the few people that HAS been around for support.. that's why i think it will be best for both of us to keep it in the open... yeah, hair falls out, saggy skin and all I KNOW THIS WILL MAKE ME HAPPY!!!

I once lost 145 pounds once with hypnosis/eating right/exercise and that did happen. No, not that everyone thought I was on crack, but they thought I was ill - they thought I had cancer or something.

Just because I was losing weight? Can't a fat girl make some changes in her life and lose weight without being thought she is sick, on drugs, or something?

I don't think it matters how you lose it, people will talk. Some of it will be good, some will be bad. The same ones who would say things to each other about how fat and unwell you looked will start talking about how thin and unwell you look.

To heck with them all. Besides, you aren't doing it for them.
