Default Isopure Protein Drink- like gatorade

I just discovered the easiest way for me to get my protein in! (maybe everyone already knows about this!) I went to hi-health because I can't stand protein drinks and I found these drinks called Isopure. They are in glass bottles and look like gatorade or special K protein water, but have 40g protein in 1 20oz bottle! I can drink one a day and get protein and liquids, they ROCK! They have no sugar or carbs and taste good- light and juicy. They aren't cheap but for $3-4 each they are worth every bit for me.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

KB: I use ISOPURE in the powder form. You may want to give it a try. A serving is two scoops mix it with about 20 oz of water and you get 50 grams of protein in. I get it from Hi-health as well and it cost about $40 per container with 22 servings. Cheaper option if your willing to try it.

I have tried them a few times and I just do not care for them. I ended up throwing out the last bottle I tried. I asked my daughter if she wanted it and she said that she is having a hard time with them lately and told me to throw it out. She use to drink them early out but I think she got tired of them. I asked her if she buys anymore of them and she said she just got her fill of them early out. She does very good with her eating and has no problem getting her protien in. She said she will always do the protein shakes at least a few times a week. She is like me, she has a few different flavors of protein shakes and she really likes the cinnamon vanilla shake. I do not really care for that one. But her and I both like the chocolate peanutbutter proetin shake.
I am happy that you found something that you like and the isopoure is very high in protein.

i bought a case of these right before surgery. i thought they would be an excellent way to get in the protein and the fluids, but the smell made we want to vomit. i ended up tossing the case. i used the vanilla no carb powder mix for months early out. it worked great. i guess we all have different tastes.

I bought some of those liquid Isopure drinks prior to surgery. I tried 3 flavors, and then threw all 6 bottles out. They taste putrid. I'd rather have the powdered IsoPure, as that is tolerable. Those liquid Isopure drinks are really the pits. DAVE

Same here - I bought a case of the isopure before surgery and when I got home had some...it was 'ok'...then my husband used them to make ice pops and at first they were wonderful (but I think it was just the coolness and fact that I wasn't actually drinking) but by about the 4th day...NO! Almost wanted to cry when I saw one coming my way. GNC took them back and refunded me per bottle. That was lucky. I want to say that it started to feel like they actually sucked the moisture OUT of my mouth, like chalk, and a bad after taste

I am not sure we are talking about the same drinks- Isopure makes a powder with vanilla and what not, as well as liquid form. But these are NOT what I am talking about. The drinks I got are in a glass bottle and look like gatorade. (arctic punch, mango peach, melon, grape flavors) They look and taste similar to gatorade to me, and pop a 40g of protein. I love em! If anyone has them and doesn't like them I would buy them up in a hearbeat because you can't get them in powder form so I pay $3-4 a pop!

The only ones I know of that come in glass bottles and are Iso Pure taste like crap. They're awful. I bought 6 bottles, 2 of 3 different flavors. I tried one of each flavor, and all tasted awful. Other people at my local support groups have tried them too, and they can't stand them either. These are in heavy glass bottles, cost about $3.50 each and have 40 grams of protein each. I think we're talking about the same ones. You may like them as popcycles, but as a protein drink they're awful. I do not mind the powdered form of Iso Pure, but I cannot tolerate their pre mixed flavors. Dave

Yup, they are the same ones, glass bottles, same flavors, frosted grape, arctic raspberry, apple mellon (something like that)...same ones. I would tend to think that by now you feel the same way we do, yuck! But if you still like them then I am really happy for you, really - I wish I liked them, they would be very convenient!
