Thumbs down Fell off the bandwagon......

Ohhh I messed up! I was giving my kids dessert last night and took one bite......big mistake......then I took like 5 more bites at least. I can't believe I am only 5 weeks out and fell into temptation! (and the thing is my downfall before was not sweets- I think just because I can't have sugar I wanted it even more)

So the good and bad news was I didn't dump! I felt a little headache nausea going on, but not much.

Today I am back on the bandwagon and committed to fueling my body..not filling it with CRAP!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

It is only normal to fall off once in awhile. They did surgery on your stomache not your head. Don't be hard on yourself. Just do exactly what you....fill your body with good food and don't look back

Every day is a new day - and you had 5 bites, not the whole thing (and most likely you would have kept going from there before surgery ) This sugery doen't mean we have to be without - it means we will be normal and have a little. Be good to yourself. Be happy

You DID dump. The headache and nausea are symptoms of dumping. The only difference is it wasn't severe enough to bring you down.

You are doing fine. This journey is not about perfection. Dumping is still a mystery to me at five months out. Licorice and chocolate do not make me dump, but things like honey glazed chicken or teriyaki chicken send my heart rate through the roof and require a nap to recover from. Sugar and milk together also make me dump. So I really have no idea what will cause it and when, so I just try my best to stay away, but sometimes I don't. But I am not perfect and nor are you, so don't sweat it.

I haven't eaten anything I'm not supposed to (still scared), but I've felt awful from eating too fast or too much. It makes you feel awful and like you're...like you said, falling off the wagon. I don't always follow the rules (small bites, eat slow, chew chew chew and eat 1/4-1/2 cup) and feel like a failure. But it's mostly not on purpose because you've eaten a certain way for 31 years and it's hard to change! Plus I ate a little more at one serving yesterday because I didn't get a break at work and couldn't eat until noon, so getting in my protein became impossible. So I tried to eat more and felt like cr-p!
So you aren't alone! We all feel bad once in a while, but tomrrow is a new day!
