| Nectar Fuzzy Navel...IDEAS?
I know people posted on this before, but I searched and can't find it....not to mention I am tired, so here goes.
I tried the Nectar Fuzzy Navel and YUCK!
I have heard it is better mixed with stuff like Crystal Light. What would you all suggest who have tried it? Specific flavors? Ratios?
It was mostly the smell that turned me off.........

I PM'd you, but I'll post it for others.
If you like peach flavored iced tea, try this:
I mix one scoop of the fuzzy navel in a glass with some crystal light decaf iced tea (I can't do lots of caffiene) and then put it in a 20 oz. bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with crystal light. You have to constantly mix it (not shake it) over the hours it takes me to drink it at work, so it makes it easier for me to put the cap on and mix.
At first I was mixing the powder in water and filling the bottle with CL, but it's a lot better to mix it all with crystal light. It's a stronger flavor.
I also mix my twisted cherry flavored nectar in sugar free cherry kool-aid - yummy!!!!
Good luck!

I dump the stuff in a blender...with a little skim milk, some ice and toss in a couple of pieces of frozen fruit...it comes out like a smoothie!

Wow Kath, that's sounds awesome! If I ever get over my aversion to dairy products I will definitely try that!

On that web site Bariatric Eating - Protein, Vitamins, Gastric Bypass & Lap Band Info, Post-op Recipes, and Help they have suggestions/ideas. I know I've seen things for the nectors, I just wasn't paying attention since I never ordered it, but I know I saw them.

it is heavenly and tastes really sinful!!!...I buy frozen fruit at walmart...they have peaches, strawberries, pinapple, mango etc in their brand (less expensive)
I don't put a lot cuz I don't want the sugar content to skyrocket, and I blend it so that the fruit is kinda chunky...I swear, it's like a milkshake/smoothie....and it's GOOD FOR US (the skim milk adds even more protein!!!)
