Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

you might want to increase your protein or toss in a supplement. Be careful of processed cheese/ham (lunch meats can be high in sodium). It sounds like you are on track and doing the right things! How much water are you drinking and what's your exercise program look like?

Hi. I'm not sure what the exact ounces are for each meal. It looks to me like you're doing pretty good, though. I have been going two weeks at a time last month and this month with no weight loss. Then, the next two weeks, I lose a significant amount. I'm not sure why my body is doing this, but I'm just happy when I see those pounds come off. Anyway...just wanted to let you know that I plateau a good bit, but it evens out eventually.

I agree with Kathy you may need to add more protein, at 6 months out I was eating about 3-4 oz of meat at a time, but it had to be soft meat, tender and juicey

My Two Cents:

1. Increase Waters, Drink Before Meals, Not After!!
2. Increase Protein At Dinner To 3 Oz & Veggie Maybe A Couple Bites Only???
3. Exercise More With Different Routines Than Your Body Is Used To.
4. Stay Away From Processed Anything, High In Sodium & Sometimes Fat..

Hope I Can Help...
Here's To Breaking The Stall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol,

I am 9 months out and am in a LONG stall. I am thinking I may not be eating enough, like the ladies said, I also eat low-fat crackers and rice cakes too often I think. So my 2 cents is that maybe we need to eat a little more. Kathy

((((((HUGS))))) You're doing fine.

First off, you've lost more than half that you expect to lose in less than 6 months. Which is very good, as the standard losing curve sets the first 6 month loss at around half of the excess weight you expect to lose.
At 6 months, aroudn 3-4 oz per sitting is the average. Your total daily intake may be up to around 800kcal to 1000kcal at most. Protein intake should be at at 60g or more (but not over 100g) and water/fluids at 64oz at least. Other than that, keep other stuff in good balance, and keep the carb level moderate--100g-130g total at most.

BUT--- and a very big BUT, be sure that you are sticking to your surgeon and nut's guidelines, no matter what every one says/are eating.

You seem to be doing well, I think I would increase your protein up. My surgeron says I should be doing at least 60g of Protein and 64oz liquids. Just make sure you get in all of your protein first then vergies. That is my suggestions.

Thank you for the information, this site is awesome!!!
I am exercising 5 days a week at a gym with weights and 50 minutes of cardio with 35 minutes walking at a 5% incline at 4.0 speed and then bike ride for 15-20 minutes at the weight loss setting level 4. I am going to try to increase water intake and make sure I stay under 4 ounces at my meals.

i agree with eveyone els, make sure you are getting in enough protein and up the water, sometimes if u change things up a bit u will whoosh..your body gets use to the same old thing and it may slow down weightloss...happy losing!!
