| Carbs I think perhaps I am eating to many carbs. My body has been deprived carbs for five years with my diabetes and now the dr told me to have some potatoes and I can have toast. And I do have crackers from time to time with a little peanut butter on them. I am wondering if my weight loss stalling here is because of the carb issue. I know I have not been eating a ton of carbs but considering my body is used to very very little carbs in a week perhaps its just to many to quick.. Just a thought..

Not sure either, but Doc has said on here that our bodies need a certian amount of carbs, are you keep track of how many you are eating? somewhere on here is the percentages of each of what we should have. Hang in there it will all work out.

I don't think your stall is related to carbs. It's just the normal course of post op weight loss. If you aren's eating over 3000kcals you are bound to lose, there's no way you'll gain. |

Yeah, def as Doc said. You remember how we all got on here talking about the stalls in the first month or so. LOLOLOL It happens, you WILL get there, even with those dreaded stalls. Look at the change in your BMI...that is something to be proud of there. WHat about your measurements, are you doing those? That really helps when your "eyes are closed".

Look at WHAT you are eating - simple carbs or complex carbs. Really keep track of all the fat, protein, and carb values and total calorie count for the day. Make sure you are drinking enough liquids. We stall frequently and if you know you are really following program, then continue and soon you will woosh!!!!!!!

Right now, you couldn't even if you tried. But, you were able to eat that much an more pre op.
Christie, about where you are now, a lot of people hit a relatively long stall. If you are sticking to your surgeon's program, your food balance is good, and your life style is healthy, then don't sweat over the scale not moving. It will, soon enough.
In the mean while, check your inches, keep track of your clothes. They are the ones that will be moving, not the scale.
Remember, when the scale moves, the inches/clothes do not. When the scale is stuck is when the inches/clothes move. You need both kinds of movements to lose your weight and regain your health.

| Thank you ladies. I think I will start writing down what I eat again, it worked well during my six month diet pre op. And some of my carbs have been simple ones. I try to keep that at a minimum but sometimes I just need some. And a few kill the hunger but I deff will start a log again.. Thanks for making me feel better I needed it..
