Default I Am Loving This Tool!!!

Hubby wanted BBQ, so I bought a pack of NY strips last week and froze it.

Defrosted it today. Cooked 4 steaks.

5 weeks ago, the boy would have eaten one, I would have eaten one, and hub would have eaten at least 1.5, leaving half for the girl (who isn't a big meat eater).

Today, the boy will have his, I sliced about 6 quarter-inch slices for myself. Don had his and the rest of mine (about 3/4 of a steak). There is an entire steak left over (for sandwiches tomorrow...girl is not home).

I ate 4 or 5 pieces of roasted potato, and 4 or 5 bites of salad.

took me over 30 minutes to eat it all.

Now I know the surgery was a success.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You know, it was kind of scary, how early on I have been able to tolerate meat. Eggs...not so much ;-) . I have had no problems at all with meat. I was an Atkins/Neanderthin advocate about 10 years ago, before Atkins "sold out" with it's line of food, etc. I believe that carbs and transfats are the enemy, but both taste too darn good.

That being said, I was actually panicked when I read posts about friends who threw up steak 5 minutes after eating it. :-O NOOO! Not meat!

It is amazing that if we have 500 people putting up their situations on this board, you will have 500 different scenarios of what works and what doesn't.

Oh how I wish I could do steak, I was told not to eat it until after one year out, so I am going to stick with that, and probably by then I won't really care to have it at all. Congrats for you...
